Colon Hydrotherapy is a gentle treatment that involves filling the colon with water to flush out toxins from the large intestine. After an initial consultation to discuss if colon hydrotherapy is right for you, the practitioner will explain the treatment process, and answer any questions you may have. A small speculum is inserted into the rectum, where warm sterile water begins to fill the colon and a series of fills and releases begin, and slowly toxins and built up stool start to loosen up, and release through the tubing. There may be some discomfort during the treatment, but the pratictioner will be sure to educate you on breathing techniques and keep you comfortable.
